Basically, number one is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS Kotone Shiomi or whatever the canon name for the FeMC in P3P is now. I haven't played P4 yet, but I've watched the anime and I like Yu better because he reminds me of Sakamoto from Sakamoto Desu Ga, so I'll probably like him better than Akira.

As for Tatsuya, Maya, and whatever the P1 protag is called, I don't know much about them, but Tatsuya sounds like the kinda character I wouldn't like.

My favorite is Minato, followed by a tie with Akira and Yu. I haven't played either half of Persona 2 or 1, so I can't rate them.

I personally like akira because of his personality and his response choices to people. A rather jesterly sarcastic weirdo that cares for his friends. He feels more....diverse in what he feels, despite being a "blank slate"
