PHANSITE FIGHTING GAME
This was brought up in the PMs so
[EXPLOSIONS]
IF THERE WAS A PHANSITE FIGHTING GAME AND YOU/YOUR CHARACTER WAS IN IT
WHAT WOULD BE YOUR FIGHTING STYLE AND YOUR FINISHING MOVE
Attacking with word bubbles and my finishing move would be interrupting people's dates with speeches about hope.
Someone end Gamma please.
LIKE WITH ME IN THE PHANSITE FIGHTING GAME WHERE I PUNCH AND KICK PEOPLE AND SLAM THEIR HEAD INTO THE GROUND AS THE ANNOUNCER YELLS
SHUT
DOWN
I would attack with different magical spells from the book of Shadows as well as with a pocket knife, to finish of an enemy I would banish them to the Nirvana where ghost children would Murder them by cutting out the tounge and dissembowling them
Ça va? Tu as l'air en colère
Ira
Probablemente sería algo común y corriente como Ryu o Ragna, probablemente más como Ragna diría yo, pero...quién sabe?
Pero el ataque final probablemente sería algo común y corriente también.

...You don't count.
My fighting style would be full of protein-packed punches! To finish them I would call in the Defenders of Pancakes to wipe them out!

YOU DON'T COUNT EITHER
Hi Niki, do I count?
Generally slow with normal movement and moves, but any specials would by fast and somewhat powerful using Crescent Rose, although predictable with most being from head on or a 45% angle. The moveset would be almost entirely short range.
Finisher would be using Sukunda and using Crescent Rose rapidly, ending with a final strike with CR in it's stabbing mode.
Anyone who isn't linking videos to previous existing fighting games counts
Should I give an answer for my variation of Yu so far?
Donc vous me comptez même? C'est très gentil de votre part Hibiki
Gamma, Ira, and Jackman are officially on my shitlist.
Well...might want to only add two to your list then...
Weighty punches. Low aerial movement and speed for increased stopping power.

Jab: Punch, punch, kick.
U-tilt: Head smash.
D-tilt: Leg Sweep
S-tilt: Haymaker
U-smash: Uppercut.
D-smash: Unceremoniously doing the splits.
S-smash: A heavy punch.
Nair: Small explosion of fire.
Uair: Persona stabs up.
Fair: Persona stabs a spear forward.
Bair: Persona swings a spear behind.
Dair: A shitty kick.
Spec: Spartan Roar, a charge skill that boosts efficacy of all stats.
U-spec: Tossed by Persona, falling like an idiot and landing on enemies.
D-spec: Eigaon counter.
S-spec: Barrage of flames.
Grab: by the throat and tossed in a given direction.
Taunt: SCOUT'S HONOR + salute
Wow...kinda want to copy Klibs format now.
Final Smash: Spartan Rain

Rain of fiery spears, darkness spears and spear spears. Followed by a splash screen similar to an AoA finishing screen.
Alright, fine. If I wasn't already established as Hazama, I'd like to be a glass cannon of sorts. Relatively weak normals, but fantastic combo potential and super damage. Decent enough movement speed and good mixups, but no defensive options outside of system mechanics, alongside atrocious health.
mfw klib is thinking smash but I'm thinking traditional 2D fighters
I wasn't expecting Kalib to put so much effort
Neither was Kalib. And hey, I chose the one I'm not trash at
I only have played continuum shift and skull girls so, eh. Other than that Smash which at one point I was on a competitive level of competence at.
I feel a twinge upset we've got these three other fist fighters...ESPECIALLY SINCE KALIB USES A SPEAR!

Ahem. Anyway, Delta'd be a close range, rush-down type of character who, for balance, can dish out big damage, but has low health. A bit like Akuma I suppose. Normals would be your punches and kicks befitting a martial artist of his ability but the specials... They'd be interesting.

See, with my gimmick of melding the Persona and the user into almost the same thing, he'd have specials that change up his normals. Using Ramses to cast Ziodyne on himself would just be a damage increase, while diamond dust might grant access to other specials. The beauty of it is that he'll eventually have access to all the elements I think, so that's at least 8 mode changes essentially.

For a finisher, he'd have a raging demon esque combo, complete with him and Ramses posing for the victory screen (or not depending on health obviously).
Spear and double pistols for my charackter plus persona,
I would see similar spinning spear moves like Kilik from
Soul Calibur, Simple double Pistol and slide shoot moves,
Without weapons more kicks and Persona is Zaou-gongen,
so mostly agi-Zios moves with god hand being one of the high combos.

If it's similar to arena her end move would be,
Like making a lightning wall around the enemy and striking a last lightning while stricking a pose,
so simlar to indignation in the tales game,
or a similar version with fire.

And for Taunt, I would say like a point to the enemy and something witty.XD

Not as much effort as klin here, but I tried.
*Em sits right next to Delta, making sure he can see the giant mechanical scythe in his hands*
Ah, I didn't describe finishers. Oops. I'll describe two ideas here. I usually picture myself fighting similarly to Robin from FEA, sword and magic. So, one super could be an upward slash without much of a horizontal hitbox, but it'd be a fantastic anti-air option that deals good damage, and could be jump cancelled to continue the combo in the air. The second would spawn small orbiting balls of electricity, four in total. They can hit the opponent when they're floating around me, but they would fly off and hone in on the other fighter after a few seconds.
Fine. Switch my punches to spear attacks too.
Zoning and traps.
Though, let me be real here. I can't say I enjoy playing as any character in a fighting game as much as I do Hazama. His whole playstyle of getting in and dipping out as fast as possible, his mind game potential, and the great reward you get for putting time into learning him makes him more enjoyable than any character in a fighter I've played to date.
[Insert video of Goro Akechi in P5A]
My move list (and yes feedback is open):

Light: Beast Claw maul (L+L+L)
Mid: Boom Hammer Blast (M+M+M)
Heavy: Moonlight Blade Cleave (H+H+H)
Grab: Grasp of Kos (L+Forward)

Combos:
Explosive Moonlight (M+H+H+M)
Boom Beast (L+L+M+Forward+M)
Moonlit Monster: (Back+duck+H+L)
Celestial Parasite: (Grab+H)

Special:
(down+down+L+H)
Soul of Calamity: Summons his Persona and amplifies his agility and strength but dropss defense the longer it is active.

(Up+down+H+M)
The Holy Blade: Engulfs his blade in moonlight raising combo damage and defense but reduce movement.
(each one cancel each other out)

Final Moves:
Moonlit Night: (Back+Down+H (Requires Holy Blade to be active)
When connecting the strike he will launch in the air and draw out his Moonlight Blade and impales it into the ground causing a giant explosion of moonlight energy.

Bed of Chaos: (Forward+L+Grab (requires both persona to be active and Soul of Calamity to be active))
If the persona is makes contact, the user grabs and holds up the target in the air. Magatsu Izanagi will cast Magatsu Mandala under the Hunter's feet and right before it sets off, the user ditches the target letting them be caught in the blast.

Taunts:
Let's get to it. (polishing his sword)
We're done here. (reads a book before putting it away)
Got no weaknesses. (thrust his sword into the ground while flipping the target off)

Win quote:
I am a hunter, a slayer of beasts. You should know your place as did I.

Lose quote:
Well... better get back on to the training. Wish no one sees though...
Alright lets get started!

Fair: downward slash
Bair: short kick

Spec: Increases charge of sword, more charge the larger it gets
U-spec: P+S help me fly up in a rising slash
D-spec: Waffles calls down Ziodyne, hitting Pancake Knight, dealing damage in an AOE (charge up time is nessasary)
S-spec: Crossbow shot must be reloaded, but does a short stun
Grab: Pancake Knight grabs hold and throws in direction
Pummel: Pancake + Syrup punches
Taunt: Drinking maple syrup,Hug for Pancake and Syrup,
Ohh I should put down a few quotes!

Final smash: Pancake Knight rushes foward, does a flurry, fuses Waffles and Thunder Reign

Or!

Final smash: Pancake knight fuses Waffles, and gets struck by Thunder Reign for 0.5 sec, then his laser sword gets massive and does more damage

Winning Quote:
Pancake Knight! At your service!
The name isn't Goro! Its Pancake Knight!
Lose Quote:
Ill get you next time!
You sure were strong!
I'd have a moveset for all the Personas I normally use. Plus a whole lotta bullets of course. Also I'm probably a secret character or bonus boss of some sort. Or banned from everything anyways if I'm normal.
Mokou would be the way she was in Urban Legend in Limbo, aka, a darknight kinda character who sacrifices hp to do more damage and can recover a bunch with a special.
My character would be a fast type who throws a ton of punshes instead of punishing very hard.
A split second dodge: if you press guard right as the inpact hits you instead dodge and go behind the attacker.
Idle stance would be standing in place doing your standerd fighter dance thingy with your feet.
Finishing move: I shoot someone with me "evoker" ifyaknowwhatimean
*I would use the lightsword to attack physicaly, when blocking the omega shield would appear (no real difference) and maybe I make my character shoot his gun, but very limited (need to be fair)
Fast type.
Also, the finisher...
I want to use my plot, but right now I can't!
So, my character will airkick the oponent.
If it hits, I will just start doing CQC with a knife.
Fair enough, my plot will reveal my power...
What I know for sure is that Joker's super would be him roasting his opponent with that one copypasta dealing serious emotional damage
It'd function like Phoenix Wright's questioning moves on MvC3, he throws out a speech bubble with a different part of the roast that deals a small amount of damage, when he hits it four times, completing the roast, it stuns the target and deals a lot more damage than before.
Fite Style: Asuka Kazama from Tekken (TT2, specifically) [[Too lazy to make a unique style]]

Finisher: Bamboozle
Winning line: I....won?

Losing line: Ah, this is the disappointment my parents constantly feel.

Taunt 2: *whistles* HELLO NURSE~!

Taunt 3: Muda muda WRYYYYYYYYYYY!

Taunt 4: I'm the real Kalib. Ya dig?
tfw nobody has made p5 mugen chars yet.

I'm curious as to how Lavenza fights in it.
Well that's my next big project after the tabletop game, Phansite MUGEN
So hey, there's your chance.
@imtherealklib

:D
My character would just be awful, like, truly terrible, every move you make would have a negative consequence
As a fighter, Cait would be focused on avoiding damage and messing with the enemy. Some of his Dance attacks can pull off ranged combos, and his Zan/Garu abilities can give him some space by blowing others away. Also, his teleportation can be used to dodge- maybe a counter like Lucario has in Smash.

His finishing move would be a Zan/Garudyne, or even a light attack courtesy of Superbia.
For me IRL:

>imagine Hercule Satan. But middle-class.
Imma wait for that P5 fighting game, and then get back to you
Use spear for jabs, tilts, smashes.
Use daggers for areials, special, grab.
Use Psi attacks for throws and specials.
Up+B: Use Psi energy to float.
Side+B: Uses Psi energy to throw rocks
Down+B: Similar to witch time, but lasts shorter and stops them completely.
Final Smash: Mind slice. Does major damage and knockback and small chance to reverse controls
Taunt: Make pun about the person I'm fighting.
Win quote: GET RIGGIDY REKT SON!
lose quote: but y tho
taunt 2: BOI IF YOU DONT
taunt 3: lol meme
My controls would be hard to memorize.
So any opinion about my moveset? Because it's based off of Killer Instinct or Guilty Gear controls.
Gray:
Primary Gimmick - his summoned Carbuncles, which can be changed via certain specials and operate similar to Luma in terms of the abuse they can take. After summoning a carbuncle, the player must wait a brief moment (about 3 seconds) before they can summon another.
Uses his book as a blunt weapon for jabs and tilts.
Casts small spells (predominantly Ruin-based) for aerials and throws.
Uses Summons for smashes and specials.
Forward Smash: Wind Blade (Emerald Carbuncle) / Rock Buster (Topaz Carbuncle) / Burning Strike (Ruby Carbuncle)
Up Smash: Aerial Slash (Emerald) / Mountain Buster (Topaz) / Crimson Cyclone (Ruby)
Down Smash: Squall Burst (Emerald) / Landslide (Topaz) / Eruption (Ruby)
Neutral Special: Flaming Crush - summons Ruby Carbuncle and deals damage around Gray.
Forward Special: Earthen Ward - summons Topaz Carbuncle and reflects any projectiles coming from the direction the attack is used.
Up Special: Shockwave - summons Emerald Carbuncle and propels Gray and Emerald skyward.
Down Special: Enkindle - properties change depending on which Carbuncle is active. After use, the Carbuncle vanishes as if knocked off screen.
Ruby Carbuncle Enkindle: Hellfire - deals moderate damage to anyone around Gray and inflicts a burn-based damage over time.
Emerald Carbuncle Enkindle: Aerial Blast - deals pathetic damage to anyone around Gray and inflicts significant knockback.
Topaz Carbuncle Enkindle: Earthen Fury - deals moderate damage to anyone around Gray and buries anyone hit as if they were hit with a Pitfall.
Final Smash: Teraflare - Gray floats in the sky and casts his Limit Break, Teraflare. Attack behaves in a similar manner to PK Starstorm - just with more (albeit smaller) projectiles.
I'd probably use slow-moving attacks that I could switch to fast

So for instance:

Send forward a ball that moves very slowly, then it turns into a more horizontal-based projectile and shoot towards the opponent

Basically a zoning character
>Sees Bgammax write very good French

OH MY GOD I MIGHT NOT BE THE ONLY FRENCHIE ON THIS SITE
Spectrum/Skyla
Primary Gimmick: Switches between P3 and P5 forms.
Moves depend on form. P3 smashes have longer start-up or recovery depending on move. P5 smashes have less range but are much faster. P3 specials (Except changing form) have a bigger radius, but are only damaging for a short time. P5 has smaller radius, but damage for longer.
Forward Smash: Axe Charge (P3 form) / Piercing Blade (P5 form)
Down Smash: Beheading (P3) / Floor Stab (P5)
Neutral Special: Switches form
Forward Special: Fire Flash (P3) / Fire Spear (P5)
Up Special: Single Firework (P3) / Flame Riser (P5)
Down Special: Fire Circle (P3) / Fire Trap (P5)
Final Smash: Flash Fire - Huge blast of fire as she takes off her mask and uses her evoker at the same time.
