While I generally don't mind the use of the word overrated, it kinda helps to give reason WHY you think something's overrated. Otherwise, it's just another way of saying, "I don't like thing".
Anyways, the big ones for me are XenoBlade and Breath of the Wild.
Xenoblade because anytime you start calling a game "the savior of JRPGS" and then proceed to shit on literally every game in the genre with "this is the first good j/rpg since FF7/ever" and garbage of that nature, you're fucking overrated. Doesn't help that, aside from the open world itself, it really doesn't do anything special in terms of story or characters (it's all standard JRPG fare) and the gameplay is just boring.
Breath of the Wild because, it's really not doing anything all that new or special. It basically just went from being "WAAAAH! another Zelda game!" to just another open world game. What little story there is is handled poorly and not all that interesting. the only good parts are the Zelda stuff and Zora's domain. After that, there's nothing. People keep going on and on about how the world is the story, but all the world is telling, is the exact same thing everyone else has told me. Ganon wrecked shit a long time ago. Hell, that's not even completely accurate considering outside of the Zora's, absolutely no one seems to be even remotely affected or even give a damn about Ganon being there.
