*Em takes the ticket for the trip to the castle, a spell card for Mediarahan, Hamaon, and Amrita Shower, then heads for the Inn, going into the room they rented.*

*Alice follows in the others footsteps, retiring to the inn for the time being.*

*The group returns to the Inn, finding their room to be a point where the distortion is weak. A safe room, for a term more befitting of those stealing hearts. They tell each other what transpired and leave the Palace for now, a route to the town and they're way to the castle secured.*

-Through a test of mind and trial of ability the party is that much closer to the throne of the Nexus Emperor. What awaits lurking in the castle? Come back next time and find out for yourself! Players, you are dismissed!-

*A Hard Light knife in his hand explodes into light.*

*The door to the Inn opens and Sakura steps outside to greet Em.*

Sakura: You're the one that won the competition aren't you? Shouldn't you be on your way to the castle soon? Most people don't stick around long when they have an invitation there.

*Kazuya gets up and walks out of the Inn without paying much attention to anything. Now, setting his eyes at the castle, he decides that it's better to head off there as fast as possible.*

Say, is this a one person tour, or am I able to bring some comrades with me? I'm sure a few of my friends would like to tour the castle with me, and I'm not sure we'll get another chance.

Hey, some familiar faces. I promise I'm not drunk, so let me follow you into battle! I've got nothing better to do.

Sakura: They've never turned down groups before. As long as there's not too many of you it shouldn't be an issue. You can get to the castle by taking this road down to the edge of town. There should be a guard that can take you all there.

*Emerson is given directions. Quite useful.*

*The party follows Sakura's directions and arrives near the outskirts of the town. The sky slowly transitioned from a clear blue to the same ominous red as the normal city had. What awaits them isn't a person, but a Shadow. It's true nature not revealed, it still appears humanoid, dressed like a limo driver with a mask on it's face. A few feet from it is a large magic circle. When the party is close it turns to them, a male voice coming from it's mouth.*

Shadow: So you all are the ones going to the castle? Emperor Mammon is away right now, but he won't mind letting you in now. If you're all here, step over here whenever you're ready. Show me the proof one of you won the competition first though. Rules are rules.

*Star finds several shirts and necklaces that say things like "I <3 Mammon", "Glory to the Nexus Empire" and such. I assume she'll end up meeting the party before they leave.*

Oh, right. Here you are.

*Em pulls out the ticket he got yesterday, and shows it to the Shadow.*

Huh...I should make merch for the evil team...and I still need a good name for the team. *Disappears in a puff of smoke only to reappear a short time afterwards near the party in yet another puff of smoke* ...I think that ninja anime is influencing my TP powers...

*Kazuya checks his COMP in silence while he waits for everything to be finished.*

*PK then walks over to the circle and sits down, waiting to be teleported

*The magic circle flashes and activates, sending PK away in a instant.*

*Alice has re-joined the expedition and quickly caught up with the group. She wastes no time with asking questions as she doesn't wish to be left behind again, following the other's lead and stepping onto the circle.*

Phew... N-not getting left behind AGAIN!

*Once teleported, everyone finds themselves at the base of an impossibly large castle. Those that saw Mammon's castle in the real world would notice how similar it looked, just on a grander scale and full of more... malice in the design. Two shadow guards are waiting by the entrance, staring daggers at PK, then the rest of the party once they arrive.*

-Players, get inside somehow!-

*... she's not visible, and neither is she very talkative at the moment, but she's searching around the castle for an entry point everyone can use...that isn't the front door*

*Alice holds off from confronting the guards. She really wasn't looking for a fight this early into the expedition so she looks around for another way into the castle should Emerson's ticket or PK's negotiation fail.*

*SG#1, who is on the left side of the party materializes a sword and points it at Em.*

SG#1: There are some of you that appear to be on the Emperor's list of those that are denied entry. We won't force you to leave the premises, but attempt entry and we'll be forced to take action.

SG#2: (@PK) The Emperor has been busy as of late. He's not in the castle at the moment.

*Star and Alice both see a window on the right side of the castle that's open. A singular guard seems to be paroling the area around it. There's also a shed like building on the left side of the building.*

-Players, figure out your plans!-

*Em keeps talking to the guards, waiting for the others to make actions.*

SG#1: I'll tell you this much, the two of you are pretty high up on the list. Getting on it is something only the Emperor knows. Even if I knew, I wouldn't tell any of you.

SG#1: (@Tatsuya) That suspicious look is enough to keep you out.

SG#2: (@PK) Normally yes, but as the other guard has already made clear, most of you are barred entry to the castle. No matter how much you ask, you won't be let in.

SG#3: (@Alice) .... Return to the entrance citizen. You shouldn't be wandering around here without permission.

*The shed is... unlocked? There's a staircase going down to a dark passage.*

(Space Cat, it's climbable, and most here can fly in some way anyway. So access to it wouldn't be hard.)

*Em stares angrily at the shadow, almost as if he'd cut it down at a moment's notice.*

*a small flame, almost impossible to see, appears when asked where she is. It doesn't illuminate the place, but it does let people keep track of her if they know where to look*

*Alice would be a little offended by how the shadow brushed her question off so easily but she remembers its a shadow... and that her question was kind of pointless anyway. Upon hearing the cat's recommendation she would have been willing to take one for the team and provide a distraction but then notices he backs off so she does the same.*

Hmph... Very well.

*She returns to the group to see what progress they've made.*

*Star, Cat and Amami descends through the depths of the staircase. Reaching the bottom, they can both see that they're in some sort of dungeon like area made of stone. In front of them is a closed off gate, with a light switch next to it, and a large bowl on a pedestal underneath. The area is bare besides this.*

SG#2: (@PK) A deal? What have you to offer to sway my loyalty to Emperor Mammon and overlook this?

SG#1: (@Em) Complain all you like, this is the price you pay for angering the Emperor. I can happily force you out if you so desire.

-Player... just keep going.-

*Em walks away from the guards, and once a distance where they wouldn't be able to see him, he goes over to the shed, and joins the rest of the group that went into it.*

[Raidou and Gouto arrive in the same manner the rest of the group did. Raidou himself looks up at the high wall with awe, but quickly snaps out of it. Following the sounds he hears from a run-down shed, he descends and arrives in the dungeon with the others.]

Hmm... another puzzle? No, this may be a locked door that requires a key. Whatever the case, this is not fast enough. I shall draw the attention of the guards, meanwhile you must solve the puzzle. I shall check the window now. *Walks out and sneaks past the guard and into the window*

*Kazuya lets out a loud sigh as he walks to where the rest of the group head off, assuming there was something uselful around.*

What a drag, you guard shadow guys are no fun at all!

*He casually, but cautiously walks towards the left, and after a few minutes, he notices the shed. Without losing any other moments, he decides to head in and go down the stairs, finally making it with the rest of the group.*

Hey guys, are we dealing with a puzzle again?

Now now, I never said that you should dis obey your lord! I was simply suggesting a knightly favour! I could offer you my land and title, which is definitely worth a pretty penny! In exchange you give me a favour!

*PK then pulls out a scroll lined with names of villages and prestigious titles,

*Alice looks in the direction that the others were heading in. She recalled seeing at least Star go over there earlier and not return so it most likely warrants a search but at the same time that'd just leave PK out here alone. She chooses to stay with the guy so he at least has an ally should anything turn ugly. Besides that she doesn't really have much to add to the conversation he's upholding with the guard.*

*Both guards are suddenly writhing in pain as they clutch their heads. With a bright yellow flash, they both stop and back away from the door.*

SG#1: You all may enter. This offering is more than enough to grant entry into the castle.

*The doors swing open as the two Shadow guards dissipate into darkness. The entrance awaits any that wish to walk in.*

*Star goes to the window and can see the entrance hall. It's fairly easy to notice the doors have been opened.*

*In the dungeon area, the lights are turned on. The bowl is empty, but has something written on the side.*

"To open the gate, you must part with something gifted to you by fate."

*Em walks back up top, and sneaks back over towards the gate, before realizing the guards are gone. He walks over to PK, and taps his shoulder.*

The heck did you do? Did you kill them?

[Hearing the sound from above, Raidou pokes his head out of the shed and sees the others just waltzing in the front door. He gestures to the others with him to accompany him as he rushes after PK's group, but him being silent makes a weird language barrier that is quite difficult to overcome.]

*Kazuya sighs awkwardly, almost as if he was just hiding something. Then, he turns around and walks up the stairs.*

Welp, I'm going to look for some other...uh, entry.

*After making his way up and walking away for a bit, he noticed the main door is open. He runs towards the group and his eyes show nothing but shock.*

Wait, what, HOW!?

*The Gate doesn't open... The hairs are burned out of the bowl and it is once more empty.*

*Em looks through the open front gate and observes the layout before them.*

*she bites her thumb and lets the blood drip in the bowl*

*Inside the castle, the entrance hall is enormous. Multiple chandeliers adorn the ceiling, There's an elevator in the center presumably going to the top of the castle. There's two sets of rounded staircases leading to another floor view-able from the ground level. There are doors with symbols on them that can be seen from the distance. The elevator is glowing red currently.*

*The necklace disappears from view as the gate slides open. There's a staircase leading upwards in front of Space Cat.*

*When everyone walks over the the out of control Ferris Wheel the door on one of the cabins bursts open and two figures, one male and one female leap out. A Persona, recognizable to most as Ramses II appears and the male picks the female up bridal style and slides down Ramses staff to the ground. Most around know that the figures are none other than Delta and Lightning. There's something off about Lightning however, and it isn't the fact that she's wearing a swimsuit.*

*The Ferris Wheel comes to a stop shortly afterwards.*

Delta?: Lightning, are you ok?

*Delta seems calm enough but... looking into his eyes reveals how much Kaz's words have cut into him. Before he can say more or react to Star or Em, the aura surrounding Lightning bursts to life, a dark purple that sends shock waves knocking the party and Delta back. He's left watching in shock Lightning forms a sword made out of dark energy and brandishes it towards the party, ready to strike.*

*Em brandishes his Persona Card in front of him, smashing it between his hands. The Persona Saul forms around him, and releases a red light that coats the party.*

*Kazuya get knocked back but is able to maintain his ground without much difficulty, still relatively close to Lightning.*

Alright then, the hard way it is!

*Kazuya's body emanates a strange, powerful magic as he rushes at Lightning at full speed. With a quick draw of his sword, he goes for a slash of incredible speed.*

It appears it's time for me to be useful. Oy, Delta! If you want to break the possession, then help us! *Pulls VBV1 out of nowhere and holds it out towards Lightning* this is the proof that this is a memory! *Rushes at Lightning and does a three hit combo before jumping back and firing a few needles at her. For some reason, the attacks have no element to them. Star probably has a kill switch for electrical attacks in the sword.*
