Scarlet Mist Incident: Ex Stage
You have receive an invitation to " play a game" from a certain "Una Nancy Owen". Having succumbed to your curiosity you have come to the Scarlet Devil mansion (Again if it is the case for you).

You arrive at the lake. As usual it's frozen. In front of you, the Ice fairy greets you with a feisty smile.


[Note: your life counter has been reset. you all have Five lives for the remainder of the ex-stage.]

You know what, you fight a lot, how about we do something different for a change? A new, Cooler contest. You're pretty good at making stuff with your ice, after all, you made those walls, and froze the lake. Why don't we have an ice sculpture contest instead?

( @SatoNishima just FYI, to me 99% of status effects have a certain hit rate. so even if you hit me with an attack, it won't always connect. I calculate those with a dice for fairness. You should talk to me ( Liam) about the hit rates. I generally handle that kind of stuff. )

Actually, from what I've learned, in Gensokyo fighting is more like a competition. Its a judge of not only strength, but also artistic ability. Perhaps we could test our skills in another way, through an ice sculpture competition. Both Cirno and I are more than capable of making enough. So perhaps this would be a nice solution.
*Gamma then turns to address Cirno specifically*
An Ice Sculpture contest is a thing where you and some other people compete to make the prettiest thing out of the ice you're so good at making.

But your attacks also don't last as long. I mean, look at the lake. Its both pretty and enjoyable for a long while. Ice sculptures are like that, they stay around so you can enjoy them more.

*Gamma's persona bursts into life around him and begins to form 3 pillars of ice to serve as a base for Bona, Dante, and Dahlia*
Cirno and I are at an advantage since we can manipulate the ice as it forms, but you three may as well give it a shot. Just carve the pillars into whatever shape you so please. Then we can all act as judges.

And now that the pillars are done, I'll start on my own sculpture.
*Shiranui once again bursts forth and roars, delicately forming ice into the shape of what appears to be a long, runged ladder that is propped up on little pillars of supports. It has hills, valleys, curves and loop-de-loops. The finishing touches on his sculpture is a little car on the apparent track with ice people inside of it, finishing the form of a rollercoaster. Gamma seems out of breath afterwards*

Its actually really creative when you think about it, uses simple shapes and takes advantage of your ability to make ice for stability. 7/10
*Gamma then looks closer at Dante's sculpture*
It seems to represent some sort of eternal conflict. Perhaps the constant struggle between good and evil? 8/10
*Gamma proudly glances at his own sculpture*
Of course, the attention to detail on this one is exquisite, though it is quite fragile, such is the nature of beauty. 10/10

( this is the follow up to my touhou series. a bunch of boss fights centered around touhou 6. This is the ex stage, the hardest one. The ice fairy fight was an introduction. As for a reason for fighting... well that's just how things are in touhou. )
