I've heard that logging into forums, THEN PMs has solved the problem for some people. Though some browsers don't seem to work.

I had the problem on several alts. The problem was solved by logging out, into forums, and then going to PMs, rather than logging directly into PMs. Don't know if this is a definite solution though.

I know Boss is using Chrome, which usually works, so I'm not sure what the problem is unless he's accidentally in incognito mode somehow

What browser are you using Cake? Because I know that Safari, at least, doesn't work in the slightest. It seems Chrome on Android isn't working either.

What device are you using? Because Chrome works on most, but not on Androids for some reason.
If nothing else you might have to start downloading FireFox and stuff to see which ones are able to work.

Chrome on Android worked with me just fine.

Tell me what browser and device are you using.
If you're on Chrome and windows you can check for any errors by opening the console (ctrl + shift + j), not sure how that works in other browsers.
If there are any errors then write them down here or PM me.
