What the eff?
Tbh the guy really seems like he's apologizing to save his own hide. His Twitter post was absurdly egocentric (&quot;I didn't do it for view. I get views.&quot;), and he talked about himself multiple times in the letter while only acknowledging the victim once or twice. However, his fans are in a completely different league. A bunch of them attacked Reina Scully after she posted a video as a response to the incident, and some of the comments are just horrible (https://twitter.com/ReinaScully/status/948344789707059200). It even got to the point where both the Huffington Post and Buzzfeed reported on it. It shows how impressionable young kids are and how much YouTube has turned into a place where people can show their true natures through who they idolize.

Are they Mary Sues?
<quote user="TogoSystem">I don't even recognize two of them. Kawakami in center? Who's the one on the right, with the gum? </quote> From Left to Right, it's Chihaya, Takemi, Kawakami, Sae, and Ohya.
Are they Mary Sues?
<quote user="Ohya">Why do you hurt me so? What the hell kinda question is 'Do they look like Mary Sues' anyway?</quote> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Sue Mary Sues are essentially characters that are perfect just for the sake of being perfect.<div class='edited'>(edited by Amamiya-Ren)</div>
Are they Mary Sues?
<quote user="TogoSystem">The school girl look wholly disguises both her and Sae the most, (even Kawakami to a degree) if only because how generally business minded they look overall. Sae and Ohya look the least like students overall, to be more precise. So this image of them was initially jarring. </quote> Honestly, I didn't even recognize Sae at first. Her hair looks the same shade as Chihaya's, and the hairclips aren't visible.
What Stands Out To You When Picking A New Watch?
I've got a few rules I follow when looking for new Anime to watch. First, I'll watch pretty much anything from Studio Trigger. Kill La Kill was one of the first anime I watched, but I really became a fan of the studio when I saw a CrunchyRoll Summer Simulcast panel promoting Kiznaiver and Space Patrol Luluco back at Momocon 2016. Second, I follow CrunchyRoll and Funimation on Twitter. They'll usually do sizzle reels of shows premiering each season, and if I see a show that piques my interest, I'll look into it. Third, if I can't find any new shows I want to watch, I'll just take around 30-45 minutes browsing CrunchyRoll to see if anything has an interesting poster or description. If it does, I'll watch the first 10 or so minutes of the pilot to see if the show catches my interest. Fourth, I'll look into sequels of existing anime or adaptations of IPs that I already enjoy, such as Food Wars (for the former) or Persona (latter).
