I don't know if I'm going to be able to do well in high school, especially since I'm going to a really challenging high school. I want to be able to pursue my goal of becoming a programmer but I'm not even sure if I'm going to get into algebra 1 honors.

I used to get top grades and was one of the best students until like halfway through high school i stopped giving a shit and just didnt do work a lotta the time so i got like average grades lol

I went to a Magnet School, think of it as a school for nerds, so while I did very well, straight As and all, that's not enough for you to have to give a speech at graduation, kinda the best of both worlds if you overlook all the sports teams being terrible

@Bgammax Don't worry, I go to a nerd school too. Being gifted has it's high points, one of them being I now go to a school where people know about Persona and other "nerdy" passions of mine.

uniforms can either be great or terrible. the ones at my school are nice and nobody cares to give me crap for having a skirt that's too short. we pretty much are always breaking some form of uniform code. and some guys' legs look AMAZING in the right kind of khaki pants. so i love that shit.

yeah out of uniform days are cancer. but since i've always worn uniforms to school, i'm pretty much only wearing skirts and sweaters anyways because it's what i'm comfortable in, and it looks good as fuck on me.

@filthyllama I'm a freshman so not yet, but I'll be taking AP Japanese in my Junior year since I'll be skipping Japanese 2 and going 3 nest year.

AP classes in general sucked. Too much work and too little time before the exam. While my classmates got to enjoy normal lives I was forced into study hell. The only beneficial aspect of being an ap student was having my stamina built to last. I can now keep working for two days straight without sleep thanhs to ap.

Also my only complaint about school is I haven't gone back yet. Soon though. Waiting for a solid chunck of money in the bank.

Hmm my current personal complaint would be that there is never enough parking on my campus. I wake up two hours early for class and yet the lot is always fullmetal this results in an extra 30 minutes wasted trying to find a spot. The food also sucks at times and on Mondays you sometimes find after party vomit in the sinks. Other than that I just finished my first year and now I am at peace with everything.

@Mishimans Gotcha, next year I'll be in all honors (except for math cuz I practically failed algebra) and I already suffer from sleep deprivation too! So I think I'll be ready for at least ONE AP class

Distance and traffic. Business is mostly done in the next city, where most universities also are, so many people travel to it every morning. I don't mind it that much, though. I sort of appreciate the rest it allows.

Don't worry those three years will go by quickly. High school may seem like it lasts forever, but it really does not. Time especially moves faster if you keep yourself decently occupied.

My issue with school is that I can never wake up on time.

Today I legitimately set my alarm for tomorrow.

And when I do wake up later than normal, it's never before class starts, it's always 5 minutes AFTER school starts. I've woken up at 8:15 a lot.
