Retcon that and make a new reason to extend the story? Right now its all action all the time. Its not a sustainable plot rn.

(I'd assume after the whole Succoth deal [which I still only partially understand due to the days I missed] the Nexus would still persist because we believe in it, a la Morgana in the real world at the end of P5. Then we'd just deal with character subplots and stuff until someone decided to make a new enemy for season 2)
